Pinky Cole<\/a> is joining season 17 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta <\/a><\/em>at a pivotal moment when she\u2019s balancing life as a wife, mom, and CEO while opening up about both her wins and her setbacks.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you\u2019re going to do this show, you\u2019ve got to give it everything,\u201d the Slutty Vegan founder told BOSSIP. You\u2019ve got to be open and be an open book.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

That openness includes letting viewers in on one of the most difficult chapters of her journey.<\/p>\n

After a company restructure that temporarily cost her ownership of Slutty Vegan, Pinky ultimately bought the brand back, which later came alongside a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing <\/a>and mounting financial pressures tied to loans and tax obligations.<\/p>\n

She told BOSSIP that at one point, everything was falling apart behind the scenes.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cHere it is, I\u2019m raising $250,000 for people, and my company is falling apart,\u201d she said. \u201cI died on the inside before anybody else went to my funeral.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Even as recent headlines swirled about creditors seizing her Georgia home<\/a> and changing the locks, Pinky says she had already done the emotional work.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cBefore the world knew what was going on, I suffered in silence,\u201d she said. \u201cSo by the time all of the news started to hit the media, I had already begun my healing process.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And now she is flipping the narrative with a series of skits tied to the negative press she\u2019s received. Her most recent spoofed her getting the keys back to her rental property with a reenactment of the infamous Ms. Parker scene from Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou going to troll me? I\u2019m going to troll you back,\u201d she told BOSSIP with a laugh. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Still, Pinky is clear-eyed about the reality of public scrutiny.<\/p>\n

\u201cControversy is what sells,\u201d she said. \u201cBut at the end of the day, I\u2019ve got a thick skin because I had to suffer alone by myself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Season 17 will show that journey in full, including the breakdown of her business and what it took to rebuild it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really go deep into the breakdown in my business,\u201d she said. \u201cNot as a victim, but I am sharing my story so that you can feel empowered and inspired.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued,<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not just an entrepreneur,\u201d she added. \u201cI\u2019m a human being that has highs, that has lows, and people can see that and relate. She\u2019s tangible.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Beyond the business, #RHOA watchers will also get a closer look at her personal life, including her marriage to Derrick \u201cBig Dave\u201d Hayes, the CEO of Big Dave\u2019s Cheesesteaks CEO whom she wed in 2023.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cHe didn\u2019t want to do it in the beginning, if we\u2019re being honest,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to Pinky, they went back and forth about putting their lives on display, but she ultimately saw the bigger picture.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cWe are Atlanta royalty. Why wouldn\u2019t we utilize this opportunity?\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

And when it comes to the fellow housewives, Pinky says the dynamic is exactly what you would expect.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe got a couple screws loose,\u201d she joked to BOSSIP with a laugh. \u201cSometimes I\u2019m at the table like, \u2018What did I sign up for?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Still, beneath the tension, she sees something deeper.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cIt feels like a sisterhood, and sisterhood is not always going to be easy.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She has also found her footing alongside fellow newcomer and her Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. sister K. Michelle, who she also considers a true sister within the cast.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cThat\u2019s my sister,\u201d Pinky said. \u201cI don\u2019t think I would have been able to do this without her.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Their bond extends beyond filming and into real life, offering both support and strategy as they navigate the group together.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Pinky is clear about the energy she brings into the space.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t be tested,\u201d she said. \u201cI know who I am and I know whose I am.\u201d<\/p>\n

And at the end of the day, she\u2019s showing up exactly as she is.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m different,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd I think that\u2019s what this show needed.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
