The decision appears to have been influenced by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer\u2019s criticism of the event. In recent years, West has drawn the ire of many for his anti-Semitic remarks. He has also received criticism for his vocal support of Adolf Hitler. Starmer slammed the festival, which is owned and managed by Live Nation, calling the situation \u201cdeeply concerning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is deeply concerning\u00a0Kanye West\u00a0has been booked to perform at Wireless despite his previous antisemitic remarks and celebration of Nazism,\u201d Starmer told <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/news\/38732126\/kanye-west-wireless-festival-should-he-perform\/\">The Sun<\/a><\/em> in a statement. \u201cAntisemitism in any form is abhorrent and must be confronted firmly wherever it appears. Things got worse the longer I ignored the problem. I said and did things I deeply regret.
