Lizzo<\/strong> shared a candid and unexpected revelation about her sex life during a March 31 appearance on the Friends Keep Secrets Podcast<\/em>, surprising hosts Benny Blanco, Lil Dicky, and Kristin Batalucco when she disclosed that she remained a virgin until 2020, the same year she won her first Grammy.<\/p>\n

Lizzo revealed she was a virgin up until her 30s.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cI was a late bloomer. I lied about it for a long time,\u201d Lizzo, 37, explained<\/strong><\/a>, before revealing that she was 31 when she lost her virginity, aligning with her breakthrough at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, where she took home three awards<\/strong><\/a>: Best Pop Solo Performance for \u201cTruth Hurts,\u201d Best Urban Contemporary Album for Cuz I Love You (Deluxe)<\/em>, and Best Traditional R&B Performance for \u201cJerome.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Reflecting on the timing, she added, \u201cIsn\u2019t that crazy? I wasn\u2019t even thinking about it\u2026 I just promised myself when I was younger that I wouldn\u2019t have sex until I won a Grammy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her admission left the hosts stunned, with Lil Dicky jokingly asking whether she would have eventually changed her mind had she not achieved that milestone.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lizzo laughed and clarified that \u201cit was not the night of Grammys\u201d but happened shortly afterward, adding:<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel a weight off of my chest right now. It was so embarrassing. I was in a friend group of girls. We were all girling one night and it was like, \u2018Wait, Lizzo are you a virgin?’\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

She went on to explain that she had long felt uncomfortable discussing it and didn\u2019t know who to confide in, recalling, \u201cI said, \u2018I love the D.\u2019 I said that. And it held me over for a little while.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now more at ease with her journey, Lizzo expressed pride in embracing her sexuality and being honest about the complexities she once felt around intimacy.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In addition to the virgin revelation, the superstar revealed she did not have her first kiss until this age.<\/h3>\n

During her appearance on the Friends Keep Secrets Podcast<\/em>, she also revealed that her first kiss didn\u2019t happen until she was 21 and described it as \u201cterrible.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cYa\u2019ll have no idea. It was religious for me too. Like, when we were teenagers at my church, we all made a pact that we wouldn\u2019t do anything before marriage. And then, I was just so scared. Like, nobody wanted to kiss me,\u201d she said, recalling that the experience occurred on New Year\u2019s Eve and left her upset.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a New Year\u2019s Eve thing and he forced it on me. I was really mad and I was like, \u2018My first kiss is ruined.\u2019 I was so mad,\u201d Lizzo added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Now, she\u2019s happily in love with longtime boyfriend Myke Wright.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The singer-songwriter is now in a relationship with Myke Wright, whom she went public with in 2022 after years of knowing each other since 2016 while co-hosting MTV\u2019s Wonderland<\/em>. <\/p>\n

Though they keep their relationship relatively private, Lizzo previously shared her feelings during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show<\/em> in 2022, saying<\/strong><\/a>:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am very much in love with Myke. Absolutely. 100 percent.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before they began dating, Lizzo revealed that in the past she and Myke were friends, but was hesitant to give love a chance as she was focused on building her career and battling through an \u201cunlovable\u201d phase.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWith him it was different because if you love something, you let it go, and if it\u2019s meant to be, it comes back to you\u2026 and then when the time was right, we came together.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s nobody else I\u2019m going to be with for the rest of my life,\u201d Lizzo added when Stern asked the singer if she would say \u201cI do\u201d and have children with her longtime boyfriend.\u00a0<\/p>\n
