The indictment remained sealed for months before a judge ordered it unsealed earlier this year. Authorities allege the attack occurred roughly two months before the Arkansas traffic stop that led to the weapon\u2019s recovery.<\/p>\n<p>Police said Anderson was driving eastbound on Highway 24 near the Broadway exit when gunfire erupted from a passing vehicle. Investigators believe at least two shooters opened fire from a Hyundai. Authorities said he declined to identify suspects or provide details about the motive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe denied knowing who shot him or why,\u201d authorities said in investigative records referenced in the case.<\/p>\n<p>Doctors treated Anderson for two gunshot wounds before releasing him from the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators later sought DNA evidence as part of the probe.
