U.S. Latin has signed a global publishing deal with Kris R, one of the most prominent voices behind the Latin Trap movement. His most recent album, EL TRAP DE KOLOMBIA, saw massive success upon release, debuting at No. 1 on Spotify Colombia Top Albums, No. 3 on the Global Top Albums, and No. 5 on the US Top Albums chart and amassing over 1.5 billion streams. Building on his breakthrough moment, Kris R has collaborated with top-tier artists, including Ryan Castro, Blessd, Myke Towers, Ovy On The Drums, WestCol, and Hades66, among many others.<\/span><\/p>\n

With his new album, the Colombian American artist has positioned himself as a key force shaping the next chapter of Latin urban music. Most notably, the single \u201cEL TRAP DE KOLOMBIA\u201d was written during WCM\u2019s Fresco Sounds songwriting camp in February, alongside WCM\u2019s Bullnene and co-produced with Jorge Milliano and Bryan Yepes. The songwriting camp brought together WCM and Warner Music Latina artists and songwriters to collaborate to generate songs at scale and deepen collaboration between WMG label and publishing teams.<\/span><\/p>\n
