Legendary hip-hop collective Wu-Tang Clan announced their return to the road this summer with Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber Tour, with special guest Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, bringing one of the most influential groups in music history back to stages across North America due to popular demand for a monumental run of live shows. Promoted by Live Nation, the 26-city tour kicks off August 27 at Darien Lake Amphitheater in Darien Center, NY, making stops across the U.S. and Canada in Atlantic City, Toronto, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and more before wrapping up October 4 at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre in Phoenix, AZ.<\/span><\/p>\n

ABOUT WU-TANG CLAN<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Founded in New York City\u2019s Staten Island in the early 1990s, the Wu-Tang Clan is comprised of members RZA<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, GZA, Method Man<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, Raekwon<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, Ghostface Killah<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, U-God, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, Cappadonna<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, and the deceased Ol\u2019 Dirty Bastard (ODB). Their name is a reference to a 1983 martial arts film.<\/span><\/p>\n

Led by the production of RZA, samples from martial arts films have thematically appeared throughout the group\u2019s music, as have samples of classic funk and soul tracks from artists like Rick James, James Brown, and Syl Johnson. As a group, Wu-Tang Clan have three platinum albums among their eight LPs, and the group\u2019s complete anthology (including solo albums) has more than 85 full-length releases.
