The consequences have been immediate and severe. Absenteeism among TSA officers has surged to unprecedented levels, with national call-out rates exceeding 10% and spiking as high as 30\u201340% at major airports like Atlanta, Houston, and New York.\u00a0 In some locations, more than half the workforce has failed to show up, a stark indicator of both burnout and financial desperation.\u00a0<\/p>\n
