Authorities say the charges stem from allegations that Francois trafficked a 16-year-old girl, identified in court filings as Jane Doe, between June and August 2024.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">New York rap artist Jimmy Francois aka Bentley Bugz was arraigned on a six-count CHILD SEX TRAFFICKING indictment March 6 following a multiagency investigation that included ICE HSI.<\/p>\n<p>Francois allegedly sex trafficked a 16-year-old girl throughout multiple states \u2014 forcing her\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/oWlTNWbLP7\">pic.twitter.com\/oWlTNWbLP7<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (@ICEgov) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ICEgov\/status\/2031491594424058001?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 10, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Prosecutors allege Francois transported the teenager across several states, including locations in Queens, New York, and forced her to engage in commercial sex acts with multiple clients each day. Investigators say he maintained control through physical assaults and threats, sometimes attacking other women in the victim\u2019s presence to intimidate her.<\/p>\n<p>According to the indictment, Francois also produced sexually explicit images of the minor and used some of those photographs in online advertisements promoting prostitution.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-new-york-city-rapper-bentley-bugz-indicted-on-6-courts-of-child-sex-trafficking-in-brooklyn-court\">New York City Rapper Bentley Bugz Indicted on 6-Courts Of Child Sex Trafficking In Brooklyn Court<\/h2>\n<p>Law enforcement officials say they recovered a video in which Francois allegedly assaulted the victim and issued degrading statements. Prosecutors say he told the teenager, \u201cYou learned and understand that me and you are not equal.\u201d He also instructed her, \u201cYou speak when you\u2019re spoken to.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The recording also allegedly captured threats of violence. Statements such as, \u201cI\u2019mma violate you \u2026 you gonna have broken bones \u2026 in your hotel room. No hospital, no nothing,\u201d and \u201cI will personally break your bones.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Authorities arrested Francois on Jan. 29 in Miami. The United States Marshals Service transported him to New York earlier this week. His initial appearance is scheduled before U.S. Magistrate Judge Clay H.
