Kristi Noem\u2019s sudden ouster<\/a> from Donald Trump inner sanctum is the big tea that has been spilling out of Washington, D.C. since the kettle of news broke yesterday. Noem is now the first person to hear The Orange One\u2019s favorite catchphrase, \u201cYou\u2019re fired!\u201d during his second administration. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

As a public figure, it goes without saying that Noem is nobody\u2019s idea of a good time. She was obsequiously combative as she carried Trump\u2019s water on issues of immigration and deportation. Most recently, Noem came under intense criticism in the aftermath of the Alex Pretti being gunned down<\/a> by ICE agents in Minnesota as she told the American people an egregious lie despite the fact that we all saw videos of the fatal shooting, from multiple angles. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In reaction to the news of Noem\u2019s removal from Trump\u2019s cabinet, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said this on social media:<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cKristi Noem has done a stunning amount of damage and it\u2019s good she\u2019s gone. But this doesn\u2019t change the fact that we need a complete overhaul of DHS, impartial investigations into the killings of two American citizens, and information on children that were taken from Minnesota,\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, famous for telling ICE (and by proxy Border Patrol and Noem\u2019s DHS agents) to \u201cget the f**k out\u201d of his city, was less profane and less verbose than Governor Walz saying simply:<\/p>\n

\u201cGood riddance.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

U.S. Rep Betty McCollum, who represents the 4th District of Minnesota (those folks HATE Kristi Noem so much and it easy to understand why), gave the most aggressive and scathing response to the news that the wicked witch of DHS is \u201cdead\u201d calling Noem the \u201cmost inept, incompetent, and dishonorable leader in the history of the Department of Homeland Security.\u201d, according to CBSNews<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Oh, but there\u2019s more:<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cMinnesotans will never forget the terror that Kristi Noem unleashed upon our state,\u201d McCollum said. \u201cFiring her is just the first step to ending the lawlessness that she oversaw at DHS.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is up to Congress to rein in an out-of-control department and rebuild agencies that respect the civil and constitutional rights of the American people,\u201d McCollum said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And now a word from another Minnesotan who hates Kristi Noem\u2019s guts. U.S. Rep Angie Craig of the Second District of the North Star State took the opportunity to remind those engaged in jubilation that s**t ain\u2019t sweet just because Noem is gone. Her replacement, Markwayne Mullin, another Trump sycophant, will be just as bad if not worse.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cWhile this is welcome news, we should all be clear that President Trump is firing Noem because she made him look bad, not because he believes her tactics were wrong,\u201d Craig said in a statement. \u201cMinnesotans know we are not out of the woods yet and we can\u2019t afford another rubber stamp for Trump\u2019s immigration agenda leading DHS. And even though we\u2019ve seen that loyalty is a one-way street for this president, that\u2019s exactly what Markwayne Mullin will be.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

All eyes will be on Mullin as he\u2019ll undoubtedly be working overtime to make his f\u00fchrer proud of him during his first days on the job.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
