{"id":1845,"date":"2026-03-03T18:27:35","date_gmt":"2026-03-03T18:27:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/westcoastaftershock.com\/wca\/2026\/03\/tyler-perry-seeks-dismissal-of-latest-sexual-assault-lawsuit\/"},"modified":"2026-03-03T18:27:35","modified_gmt":"2026-03-03T18:27:35","slug":"tyler-perry-seeks-dismissal-of-latest-sexual-assault-lawsuit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/westcoastaftershock.com\/wca\/2026\/03\/tyler-perry-seeks-dismissal-of-latest-sexual-assault-lawsuit\/","title":{"rendered":"Tyler Perry Seeks Dismissal Of Latest Sexual Assault Lawsuit"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Tyler Perry is pushing back against a $77,000,000 lawsuit made by an actor, asking a judge to dismiss what his legal team calls a \u201cmoney grab.\u201d According to court documents obtained by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/03\/03\/tyler-perry-wants-mario-rodriguez-sexual-assault-suit-dismissed\/\"> <em>TMZ<\/em><\/a>, Perry refutes allegations that he made unwanted advances toward model and actor Mario Rodriguez, and says his claims \u201chave no basis in fact or law and no merit.\u201d Per the documents, Rodriguez used Perry as a personal piggy bank after he offered him a \u201cvery minor role\u201d in <em>Boo! A Madea Halloween<\/em>, which was released in 2016. <\/p>\n<p>The docs reveal that Rodriguez pleaded with Perry for financial assistance not only for his car, but also for his apartment, medical services, and other unpaid expenses.
